Is this XP a Business version or Home edition.

Subject: Outlook not working right on Windows XP

I have problems getting Outlook to work right on Windows XP. Whenever I
install it, I get the message that it can't connect to the Exchange
server, even though I can ping the ip address of the server. Sometimes I
can ping the server by name, sometimes not. I can always access files on
this server with no problem. I even deleted and recreated the network and
Outlook accounts for some of the problem users, but it didn't help. If I
log any user in with domain admin rights I have no problem at all. I
certainly don't want to give users these rights, though. Same users, same
accounts can get into Outlook with no problem on Windows 2000.
Any ideas? This has happened consistently for almost every PC with
 Windows XP on it.
 Thanks

Exchange with 2 email address

2002-10-02 Thread Gunanathan, Amir

Hi,
We have a single Exchange 5.5 (ent) with SP3 on NT 4.0 with SP6a. I would
like to know how to configure the Exchange to allow it to accept emails for
2 different domains. That is, say currently we have a mail box of [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and I would like to add [EMAIL PROTECTED] The reason for this is because we want
to change the domain (address name) name. I would forward any emails sent
to @a.com to @b.com, this part I know. What I don't know is how to configure
the server with @b.com. I would appreciate any help

Thanks in advance.
