RE: Only server in a site
Friggin' [1] remove the directory replication connector first, then remove the site connector(s). (If you for some reason, like it's an IMS or X.400 connector you must keep for other tasks, delete the site from the Connected Sites tab.) In a little while, the site should disappear. However, we have a Site with just one server in it. We wish to remove the whole of this site / server. Is there anything particular we need to do to the rest of the Sites within the Organisation? Or can we just remove the server + remove the connectors + remove the directory replication connectors? There are no users left on this server (apart from our final test user). RE: Only server in a site
Friggin' remove all the connectors and uninstall exchange on the server in the unwanted site. That's the old way... although there may be other new ways I don't care to know about. -Original Message- From: Chris Jordan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, July 17, 2002 1:20 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Only server in a site I have in the past followed the instructions involved with removing the first server in a site.
