Thanks, I guess I should be a bit more clear, I'm not looking for any change in the 5.5 program or for it to be aware of anything. I just want the services to start if I choose to upgrade a NT4 box to a .NET box. As in the upgrade path to Exchange2000 required the NT4 system first upgrade to Win2K, my thinking is for us holdouts to be attracted to the next Exchange version beyond Exchange2000, a upgrade path will probably be made available.
