RE: LDAP Issues
Kishore This is probably blindingly obvious, but you are not actually using DC=mydomain,DC=com as your search string are you? This was only intended as an example. For example, my search base would be DC=cibasc,DC=com, as this is the domain name (in distinguished name format) of the AD domain that contains my user objects. Thanks for replying Tony. Not of course I'm using DC=pricesystems,DC=com as my search strings but it says no results found in the search criteria. RE: LDAP Issues
The authentication within the LDAP service will need to be updated with the new details. In the User Name section, enter user's name either in UPN or Distinguished Name format, e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED] or CN=myuser,CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=com Choose a suitable search base, e.g. DC=mydomain,DC=com or CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=com Also make sure that you that the server host name points to an AD Domain Controller. Use the default LDAP port or, if the DC is configured as a Global Catalog server you could use port 3268. Tony -Original Message- From: Gagrani, Kishore [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Montag, 30.
