RE: OWA through a PIX - Q article?
If it were in the FAQ, the answer should be, Don't bother! Why in the world would you want to open up all those ports? It defeats the purpose of a DMZ in my view. I know this should probably be in the FAQ by now, but it's not. Can someone point me to the Q article that discusses putting OWA in a DMZ. I need to confirm the ports necessary to authenticate OWA through the firewall. Cheers! Norris Carden Network Administrator Madison Newspapers, Inc. Re: OWA through a PIX - Q article?
Sorry, but those are the ports needed for the external client. I need the ports to open between the OWA server in the DMZ and the Exchange Server on the internal network. So far I found Q280132 and Q155831, but they seem to list many Win2k ports not necessary for Exchange 5.5.
