Nevermind. I'm not going to mess with the mailbox backup, just the IS/DS.

Subject: Veritas BE - Unable to Attach to \\Servername Microsoft
Exchange Mailboxes: Access is Denied.

Hi all,
I have inherited a Windows NT4 SP6a server running Exchange 5.5 SP4 and
Veritas BE v7.3 rev. 2575. I am able to run backup jobs on my file system,
Exchange IS and DS without any trouble.

My problem is that I am getting access denied when I try to backup the
Exchange Mailboxes. I have followed the steps on this document I found in
the KB but no luck. Can anyone give me any help?

Setup Deleted Item retention, and you wont have to worry about that stuff.

What qualifies these deleted items? When I delete it goes into the Deleted
Items folder...duh
Is the Deleted Items Recovery for Permanently deleted items? I'm not seeing
anything when I test this. Do I have to restart the Exchange services when I
enable this new retention setting?
