Re: setting the sent by email address

2001-11-16 Thread Paul Murphy

Hey, that is quite insensitive, but then again reading the message I posted
it does sound confusing.

Sorry.

I have been informed that it cannot be done easily if at all.

Cheers any way

So you want to send two people emails, and have it appear to each of
them that they are not only the recipient, but the sender as well? And
both people are the same person that's sending the email also?

At the risk of appearing insensitive and non-inclusive, is English your
native language?

RE: setting the sent by email address

2001-11-12 Thread Mike Morrison

No-- I think he wants to receive mail at two different e-mail addresses, and
respond as the recipient to all mail from a particular address. E.g. receive
mail at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]; respond to mail sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] as [EMAIL PROTECTED], and respond to mail sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] as [EMAIL PROTECTED] IIRC, there is no easy way to do this. I
think it has been suggested in the past that custom reply forms could be
created to accomplish this, otherwise the address would have to be changed
manually in the from field.

RE: setting the sent by email address

I think he/she is saying when [EMAIL PROTECTED] receives email from whoever
and [EMAIL PROTECTED] replies, he wants [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the from field.
And when [EMAIL PROTECTED] receives email from whoever and [EMAIL PROTECTED]
replies, he wants [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the from field.

That is simply not supported in one profile. You could use Outlook with the
Exchange Server service for one address and Outlook Express with a IMAP/SMTP
client for the other.
