giggle. thanks to all who replied. for info outlook 2000 behaved the same. I've told her to delete the offending appointments via OWA and get rid of her hideous backlog of appointments. We have exchange 5.5 sp4 on NT sp6a. Users have outlook 97 One of them when any attempt to access her calendar after January 23 2002 is made hangs up totally, outlook.exe running at 100%. That's select that day, select the month of January select the week of whatever. Or later Testing shows it's the user mailbox not the machine/profile Anyone seen this? I have seen similar with either a corrupt appointment item or a duplicate recurring appointment item, cant remember which. Have a look at the calendar with OWA and delete any appointment items you dont like the look of. Or use the Advanced Find to list all the items in the calendar folder and delete them that way.
