One option: http://www.lsl.com Mandrake Install and Extra CD combo $3.78 USD. M. Ian McLeod wrote: How about a special price / deal for existing Mandrake customers? This would encourage company loyalty and certainly bring sunshine to my day. I am very please with Mandrake - but don't wish to spend $60 - $100 Australian each time a new edition comes out and I do not have broadband internet. Also, I will be concerned over the effect of upgrading an existing system. I think it will be easy all round if we had a special price for existing users so I can get the pack with updated applications on the extra CDs (except where commerical licences / requirements disallow this) so I can re-format and install from scratch. That will probably save the greatest number of headaches. Kadjo N'Doua wrote: October 30, 2000 - Linux-Mandrake 7.2 is now available for download. Re: [expert] Fw: cgi - file not found but it is there!!!!
My guess is that the execute bit on the script is not set. In the your cgi directory, run: chmod +x filename M. rharvey wrote: - Original Message - From: "rharvey" [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2000 8:34 PM Subject: cgi - file not found but it is there I have several cgi files but a new one we just put into the directory wont run. when you try to run it, the system says file not found Whats up? thanks Keep in touch with http://mandrakeforum.com: Subscribe the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mailing list. -- ....Michael Proto [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.mp3.com/protologic "What, me worry?" -A.E.Newman Keep in touch with http://mandrakeforum.com: Subscribe the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mailing list.

Re: [expert] Off to camp once again.
Routed uses only the RIP (or RIP2) protocol to make routing decisions, whereas gated can use a variety of routing protocols. I admin firewall gateways for an ISP, and the only real reason I use gated is to speak OSPF to our exterior routers that won't speak RIP. Personally, if you don't need anything for routing but RIP, I'd investigate routed first-- it looks much easier to configure. Now if you don't need anything but static routes, then kill 'em both and write a rc script to set routes for you. Routing protocols are designed to dynamically change routes. If you only have one route coming into your box, then you don't have (or need programs for) dynamic routing. M. Eric Mings wrote: Thanks much for the replies. Very informative and helpful. I guess the only decision I need to make now is whether to nuke gated or routed. Does it make a difference?
