In the your cgi directory, run: chmod +x filename What kind of cgi is it ? If it's some kind of script (either Shell or Perl) just check out if the '#!' first line of your script points to the right interpreter. -- Jose Luis Y no llegaste a quererme, y eran mis cinco sentidos Y no llegaste a quererme, y que desgraciaito he sido Y que ha tenido que aborrecerte tanto como te ha querido (Camaron) Keep in touch with http://mandrakeforum.com: Subscribe the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mailing list.
Re: [expert] Fw: cgi - file not found but it is there!!!!
I have several cgi files but a new one we just put into the directory wont run. when you try to run it, the system says file not found Whats up? thanks You haven't been paying attention to the list. I just gave a very long explanation of this for someone else two days ago. Search http://dejanews.com for subject "Perl scripts won't work???". The short answer is that you are trying to execute a dos/win file. Thanks... Dan. Keep in touch with http://mandrakeforum.com: Subscribe the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mailing list.
