I was born in the city of Tashkent, grew up in NYC and lived a decade in
California.  Now in FF.  Although I haven't been to Mississippi, or know of
relatives there, it wouldn't be surprising, because it seems there are a
bunch of us running around the globe :-)

We've always used US Cellular, which pretty much blankets their Midwest 
coverage area with solid signal. US Cellular is a CDMA carrier, so roaming is 
with Verizon, which has a huge network.
