FW: The Loving Kindness Tour arrives this next weekend of September 11, 12 and 
13 on the world tour of the Buddhist relics. The Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour, 
will be coming to Fairfield, Iowa at Phoenix Rising Hall, corner of Burlington 
Ave and 3rd in Fairfield.
 
 
 This is a remarkable collection and has a powerful, positive effect on the 
people that view them and receive direct blessings.  Come for any or all of the 
time to enjoy this great gift from the Tibetan Buddhist lamas that have put 
this display of over 1000 relics together…including relics of the historical 
Buddha (~500BCE), the 300 awakened disciples, and other awakened Lamas through 
time. The hall is also open for sitting for silent meditation throughout the 
exhibition.  This tour has been ongoing since 2001…it is a real honor to have 
it in Fairfield!
 

 
 The event starts with a ceremony on Friday September 11 at 6pm, when the 
relics are open to viewing and personal blessings given.  
 Saturday the exhibit is open 10am to 7pm 
 Sunday  from 10am to 5pm.  
 
 There is no charge for this…although freewill donations gratefully accepted.

Having just joined the group, I would like to say Hi. Recently I 
searched the many posts in the group for Buddhist connections. Here and 
there I find individuals who have received various levels of Buddhist 
teaching but not much in the way of information about active groups or 
visiting Buddhist teachers. 

Anyone aware of Buddhist activities in Fairfield? If any that is.
