We are certainly living in interesting times! People criticize Biblical
prophecy by saying "every generation thinks they are in the *end times*." The
problem is, in those previous generations, there was no Israel and that is key
to the fulfillment of these prophecies. When Christ was asked "when will all
these things come to pass(regarding the end time prophesies of Daniel)" He
answered "know the parable of the fig tree". The fig tree represents Israel and
when it starts to bloom again " that the generation that witnesses that, shall
not pass before all these things are fulfilled. Some argue that the beginning
was 1948 and the founding of the new Israel, others say no it's the uniting of
Jerusalem with Israel in 1967, the end of the gentile control of Jerusalem and
still others think it refers to the Abomination of Desolation that think that
is the generation.

ISIS Militants in Iraq in Bible Prophecy
Is the crisis in Iraq and the Isis militants prophesied in the Bible? What
about the war on terror? Was the gulf war of 1990-91 prophesied in the Bible?
