Here it is: Six Stanzas on Nirvana by Shankara.
 Note in Stanza #6 Shankara writes "I Am the basis of the Universe" (by "I" he 
alludes to "Shiva" in the universal sense as Pure Consciousness, the Absolute.
 Or,
 The Absolute is the basis of the Universe.
 But then he would have to go on to explain the term "basis"  This term doesn't 
mean causative connections give rise to the laws of physics. In other Stanzas 
he states that the universe is "in" PC.
 Philosophers in Monism have perhaps written much on the term "basis"
 (left to the reader to research this topic).
