Muktananda's Guru, Nityananda, appeared out of nowhere, apparently already Enlightened since birth. Never had a Guru. As tradition has it, performed many miracles as a young man such as manifesting candies for children out of thin air. Eventually quit performing miracles when many people can to him asking for winning lottery ticket numbers. Didn't give lectures or formal talks, but rather spoke in short statements more like utterances.His sayings were compiled by devotees and form the book, Chidakasha Gita; part of which is online.
