Did you get the 6000 in the Brahmastan from Bob Wynne or from where? I have

Bob Wynne has a track record of confusing plans with realities. Remember his
statement to the effect that maharishi central university was moving along just
fine, when the local papers there were reporting that it was just a collection
of rusting girders with about 3 mexican security staff protecting the weeds.

AFIK there're about 1,500 pundits in the brahmastan. The idea of over 100,000
is just a plan/wish. Remember they all have to be paid, and most of the money
has gone missing. This announcement is just a way of diverting people's
attention away from the missing millions.

Rather than show donors audited accounts, they're showing pictures of pundits
and cheap buildings. It's good enough for a lot of people.

In today's Global Family Chat, Bob Wynne, in India, announced he is bringing
in an additional 200 pundits to Vedic City, for a total of 1020. There are
100,000 pundits-in-training at 1800 sites in India, as well as about 6K
pundits at the Brahmastan and other locations.

Replays on demand are available for every day of Global Family Chat (except for
Sunday, when they do Nader's book), so you can hear Wynne say in the 25Jun GFC
what the numbers are at the Brahmastan and elsewhere (as I recall, Wynne said
the pundits are about 6K, a figure which includes the Brahmastan and other
locations, but the majority are at the B-stan).

Most people would agree with you. But for the Vaishnavas, being a renunciate
or a sanyassin is considered the ideal way of life. They argue that the life
of a householder is weighed down by the responsibility of being a father and
the attraction for the sexual life.

-The problem with your logic is that pandits are not monks or sages, they are
trained householder priests. Maybe we can look at this as necessary missionary
work like young Mormans, for a couple of years and then back to normalacy. Looks
good on the pandit resume, wow, you survived living in Iowa, OK you are hired.

Of course, for a householder, monkish life sounds awful, but for those so
inclined to go even further with isolation from society than the pundits do,
 Solitude is the only blessedness.

Among the sages of India, the concept of self-sufficiency has a special
meaning. First, it means one who is filled with love of the Divine and beyond
personal human relationships. Second, it means one who is beyond personal
attachments and cannot be swayed from right action. And third, it means one
who lives without any earthly means of support.
