Yeah let's have Palin on SNL so she can pretend she is in on the joke.
Little miss "I watched the TV with the sound off" for the first Tina
Fey naildown. The chick who claims not to have listened to a satire
about her on SNL. Was that because she is s show biz these days
that it wasn't worth watching, there have been so many other times
when a national program devoted a satire to her?
Or was it because she or her handlers hoped that she could look like a
good sport about the skit but separate her from the dialog if she lied
about listening to her first ever national satire on a network show?
Sarah Palin is an object of ridicule because she represents the worst
motives in politics. She is trying to get into the White House while
hiding from any attempt to get to know where she really stands. With a
wink and a smile she doesn't want us to worry our pretty little heads
about what is going on in her pretty little head. Cuz we are all Joe
Six Packs to her. (Let me break this phrase down. If you drink a 6
pack of beer a night you are staying fucked up every night. Your kids
are interacting with you while you are fucked up. They might never
get much of a chance to see you as a straight clear thinking parent.
So Sarah's catch phrase is not a badge of honor, it is a national
tragedy.)
I wish SNL was hip enough to tell her to get lost. But SNL is now
just another corporate shill. They have mommies and daddies doing drug
jokes when it is obvious they wouldn't even drink water that doesn't
come in designer bottles. SNL will have Palin on and she will seem
like the best sport ever and in on all the jokes about her that she
doesn't listen to with her sound turned down. And I will throw up a
little in my mouth.
