Traditionally, in this culture, eating pepperoni pizza is associated
with dreams of large creatures eating Cincinnati.

The age old myth that cheese gives you nightmares has finally
been
laid to rest this week following the release of a new study
 carried
out by the British Cheese Board.

The in-depth Cheese Dreams study, a first of its kind, reveals
 that
eating cheese before bed will not only aid a good night's sleep
 but
different cheeses will in fact cause different types of dreams

 http://www.www.mapi.com/en/newsletters/toxin_detoxification.html

The most important thing is to eat your main meal at noon, when
the
sun is strongest and the digestive fire reflects that strength. If
you eat too much at night, or eat heavy foods such as meat or
cheese
then, the food will sit in your stomach and create ama. Eat light
at
night and your food will be easily digested before you go to sleep.

In the study, the volunteers ate 20 grams (less than
an ounce) of cheese a half-hour before bedtime.

Not true for me. Eating cheese in the evening does cause bad
nightmares shortly before I wake the next morning. I don't know
if all cheeses do this, or just some types, but I'm not keen to
 experiment.

I'm not aware of any personal food/dream combos, but I do need to
avoid nuts at night because they give me morning headaches. Cheese
sits just fine with me in the evening.

Cheese increases Pitta -- if I eat cheese or other pitta-increasing
foods at night, I can have intense dreams, which are characterisitic

Basil for some reason consistently gives me witnessing experiences.
