I think I've made this point before, but this english.pravda.ru is not the mighty Pravda we knew and loved in the heyday of the USSR, the official voice of the Soviet Communist Party. That newspaper still exists but as a pale shadow of its former self, with a tiny print run of 100,000 copies. english.pravda.ru is an online-only news outlet of little political significance, hardly a source of deep insight into "what the other side says and thinks."
