2012-04-06 Thread Bhairitu
I don't envy you that. I keep getting rid of things a few at a time.
These days fewer places want the stuff. When I moved in 2000 I got rid
of a lot of stuff but didn't have time to get rid of more and it wound
up in boxes in the garage. Bit by bit it moved out of boxes and into
the house. I just get too busy to organize throwing stuff out. Besides
I enjoy doing coding or music more than I like housekeeping. One thing
though is that I can still park my car in the garage which is something
many of my neighbors can't do. :-D

 sigh.
That's something I need to do. About 80% of the stuff in this house
could go. And here I used to live in a studio apartment. I actually
have some of the books pictured. ;-)

But speaking of apartments, around here people are paying for a one or
two bedroom what my monthly mortgage payment is for a 60's four bedroom
house (too small for yuppies who wanted to start families back around
2000 so it was easy to snap up).

Ha ha ha on being able to park your car in the garage.  That's my goal and I
will be able to do that soon.  Yes, on being too busy - turns out that I have
documented my existence on the planet with far too much stuff.  Who cares?
It's gone or going.  Freedom, I tell you.  The weight of the past is leaving
with every box that goes.
