The Lysine worked for one of my cats, but not the other. My vet prescribed
10ml of Idoxuridine 0.1% solution. This is compounded by a Pharmacy,
www.svpmeds.com. I saw fast results the first day, but he still gets the
red-crusty crud in the corner of his eyes by the next morning, rather than
several times throughout the day. I will keep you posted on its progress.
The cost was $17 plus $7 shipping. This is expensive if you are treating
several cats :(

Kathy,
I haven't tried it yet, but I will. I have so many cats and being so
darned old now (79) I can hardly keep up with it all. It's also very
important to me to keep my house and litter boxes scrupulously clean,
as well as my shelter in town, so each day I work til I'm ready to drop.
I'll try the Lysine tho, and let you know.

Lorrie,
Does it work to give your Herpes kitty more Lysine per day? It did with
mine.
