Re: Hacking Stop now sneezing and runny nose
Do you have him on Lysine? If not, you should start giving him 500 mg/day crushed and mixed in his food (or in baby food if he won't eat it in his food, or you can pill him with it but it is a big pill). Michelle
Re: Hacking Stop now sneezing and runny nose
Put a dollop of "untainted" baby food on top of the little pile with the lysine mixed in. That gets them started and you have a better chance of them eating all of it. Prayers that Crackers beats this thing quickly. N [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Do you have him on Lysine? Re: HACKING???
It really sound like a hairball trying to come up, give him some of that hairball stuff, my Joey will eat it right out of the tube. I have to brag a little he is so good, he had his lump I found removed, my vet felt it wasn't big enough to get a good needle aspirate so she numbed it and removed it. She gave me pain meds to give him and he sits there on the counter and I fill his syringe u and he licks it right out of the syringe, gosh wish they were all so cooperative!! -- Belinda happiness is being owned by cats ... Re: HACKING???
Kayte, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Many blessings and prayers for his safety and recovery. Try not to worry too much about Cracker's hacking. It could very well be something as benign as a hair ball. It is very easy to get caught up in watching our felv babies so closely that we drive ourselves into a frenzy with worry. With your dad's situation, I can see how stressed out you must be. Give Crackers some Petromalt and keep an eye on him. Is he eating? If there are no other symptoms, try and take a deep breath and relax as best you can. Let us know how your dad does and if Crackers seems to get worse or develop any other symptoms.
