I am sorry about the kitties that have passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. I
hope you all find comfort in knowing that you gave them the best life possible
and love -- the most important thing of all.

I posted to the list back in late October about a kitten named BooBo that had
tested a slight positive for Felv. She had low blood platelets, anemic, and
had petechia on her ears and body (long story), and slight fever. I gave her
Vitamin C, Transfer Factor and L-Lysine. In January, she re-tested negative. I
did go back to the same vet that had recommended re-testing in 3 weeks and
euthanizing if positive. I am so glad I did as she was so excited that she was
negative, she called me with the results. She did both an in house SNAP and
sent the bloodwork out - both negative. There are 3 other vets in the practice,
so they all know it is possible to convert -- whereas before, they did not.

Best wishes to all,
Anita

Anita, I'm so glad your kitty retested negative, and that the vets at
your clinic have had a learning experience because of it.
Congratulations!

Anita,

I see your kitty had Petechia on her ears and body. My Lucy Lu also had this,
but never tested positive for Feline Leukemia.

If you don't mind sharing your story about the Petechia, I would appreciate
hearing it.

Thank you.
