Great! Fingers Crossed!

Yes, my Josephine had a tumor in her belly too, and a few hours after a dex
shot it would be visibly smaller.

Hi Michelle! Thanks for that...so far, so good...I actually took him to
the vet's office for the shot and fluids only because he still had the
catheter in (fortunately, we live just around the corner from the
vet...literally 2 minutes away...and he is as comfortable as he can be

The vet mentioned that she felt his tummy earlier this afternoon and, to
her, the tumor felt smaller...so, hopefully, we're doing something
right! Fingers crossed that he's got a few good days ahead of him!

No, don't give him the pred. The dex should be enough for the next 24 hours
or so, and the depo should start kicking in after that. How is he doing? If he
perks up and then falls again before the depo kicks in, or if he does not perk
up at all, I would probably try giving him some. But you are not supposed
to.

Has he responded at all to the combo shot? Were you able to give it to him
at home?

Hi Michelle!

Hopefully you're online! I forgot to ask my vet this...but should I
give Ewok pred tonight (he did get the combo shot this afternoon)? I'm
guessing no as I think I recall you saying that the depo replaces
pred...but I just wanted to be sure!

Thanks,

Jen
