Re: Recent vaccination vs actual disease
I think cats are often vaccinated when they are positive. Particularly in shelter situations. My first cat was vaccinated, and showed no ill effects.tLora [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Nancy,Agreed. Re: Recent vaccination vs actual disease re:flu vaccine now flu!!:(
Never got a flu shot, I'm blessed with a pretty strong immune system, haven't been really sick since 1995. Hope you feel better soon. :) -- Belinda happiness is being owned by cats ... Ok Kayteexcuse my saying so - but this really sucks out loud. I am so sorry you are going through this. I have moderate to severe asthma and so I have been debating getting my first shot. I have diabetes on both sides of my family and my mom is worried because I had such a severe allergic reaction to eggs as a child and she is worried that the vaccine was egg-grown (I have the most fantastic allergic reactions on a regular basis). Nothing sucks more than the flu...please feel better, Kayte -- In a message dated 10/27/2006 9:02:19 P.M. Re: Recent vaccination vs actual disease re:flu vaccine now flu!!:(
In all my life - I never had the flu until I was 42 (ok - so I am dating myself). Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine how horrible it really is to have the flu. Honest to God - I had blisters inside my mouth and I missed more than a month of work due to complications (the asthma thing). Thank God I havesome of the best managers on the planet. (this was 2 - maybe 3years ago) I've always had such a robust immune system - but I am here to tell you that you really don't want the flu. People categorizeparticularly insidious infections as the flu--but it isn't so. People die from the flu - and that is a fact. The flu is evil. elizabeth In a message dated 10/27/2006 9:05:17 P.M.
