Hey Leslie,

You're right, the FeLV vaccinations aren't 100%
effective.  I think it's more like 80% or so; not
sure.  But the vaccinations, coupled with the fact
that FeLV is NOT easy to spread, makes for a good
combination when mixing pos's and neg's.  My cats (3;
one very geriatric) lived with my Cricket for four
years, and I didn't know he had FeLV for the first two
years, so they weren't vaccinated then.  None of the 3
have FeLV now, and Cricket has been gone for 9 months.
 Many people here mix too.  So I am big believer in
mixing.
