I think I remember something along the lines of the Vulkan Video HWAccel spec being super broken and nearly impossible to implement. Unfortunately that seems to have grown stale. Is there any chance vulkan video will make it into ffmpeg any time soon? I could also help if help is needed. We could really use that.
