Comment:

 1) It's actually already fixed in FFmpeg.
 2) That commit is mainly for testing and is probably not going to get
 pushed yet (to allow the said fix some time to propagate to end users).
 3) x264-sandbox is sort of a copy of my local repo, it may contain work-
 in-progress and/or outright broken stuff from time to time so don't put
 too much weight on what happens to be there.
