 Same happens with TrueHD files, see:

 Plex decoder and ffmpeg decoder agree (besides some zeroes in the end).

 It looks like shorten_by is a little wrong in our encoder? See

 What mailing list should I email for the attachments? I used
 streams.videolan.org/upload/ to upload three files:
 7s-sinetone-sample.wav --> sample.wav
 7s-sinetone-sample.mlp --> sample.mlp
