[Finale] FINPC 2006-2005-2003 MIDI connection?

2005-12-24 Thread Henry E. Howey
I had reset the balances in the STUDIO view in 2006 to audition some inner
brass parts in a score I was editing. I now have found that those same
MIDI bacances are STILL set in 2005! It seems to be the same in 2003.
(2004 still seems the buggiest version of all, thus its absence)

Can anyone offer a solution?

BTW, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY CHANNUKAH FROM YOUR FRIENDLY LISTOWNER!

The reason you still have the same levels and pans from your MIDI
tracks is because there was no MIDI message to change them back.
(Your MIDI instruments will stay at the levels you set them in
v.2006.) You could go into the MIDI tool and send controller #7 set
to 127 to all MIDI channels and controller #10 to 64 for all MIDI
channels. That would put the volumes and pans to the defaults
respectively.

[Finale] Re: BEAMing question

2005-12-24 Thread Kim Richmond
My apologies (and thanks) to all of you who answered by query. Actually, I know very well how to do this in Finale, but this question was meant for the Sibelius List, where, for me, the answer is not so perceivable. All the best,KIM ROn Dec 24, 2005, at 10:00 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:Date: Fri, 23 Dec 2005 13:23:36 -0800 From: Kim Richmond [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Finale] BEAMing question To: finale@shsu.edu Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed I have two beats filled with a dotted eight, a sixteen, and two   eighth notes.
