[Finale] Forced accidentals won't stick

 Working in FinMac 12 and experiencing that sometimes a forced accidental (* + 
notation character) does not stick. Any ideas?

I've experienced it too. My solution is to just keep trying the *.
Sometimes changing the enharmonic, sometimes re-entering the note.
Eventually it sticks.

You need to freeze the accidental to assure that it stick at all times.
