I have always found first violins to be more than a little temperamental.

PDF contents can be compressed. That can cause variations. Also there
are many options for how to handle graphics. There have always been
major variations in PDF size for what seem to be equivalent renderings.

[Finale] missing meas number digit

2015-05-10 Thread Haroldo Mauro
Hi, I suppose this is a known bug??
Finale 2012 - Mac
Text Repeat Assignment Window
On top, only the first digit of the measure number is shown. If the measure
number you're dealing with is say...36, you only see a "3". So if a coda sign
is out of place, and you want to know what measure it belongs to so you can
drag it accordingly, you're in trouble, because it doesn't tell you the
measure's full number. Is there another method to find out what measure a text
repeat symbol belongs to, other than from the top bar of the Text Repeat
Assignment window?

Thank you.
Harold

I wonder why that is -- the same is true of files produced by
WordPerfect. If I use the "publish to PDF" function within WordPerfect
the file is much larger than if I simply print to an external PDF
printer driver.
