Hi Gerald, I've done this when, for one reason or another, HP frustrates me, or controls don't work exactly as planned. For example, for violin harmonics, I like to use a non-vibrato piccolo. The easiest way to do it is to set up the different sounds you want on different tracks. You can put an invisible expression in (either blank, or with a name that you hide). When you make the expression, under playback, you set it change the channel. David Thank you for that -- I'll give it a whirl. For now I made the layer 1 -2 idea work. Each layer with a different channel. Channel 1 is KS pizz. channel 2 is arco. The program seems to remember when using spot playback. Not sure why and not sure I can extend it to the further 2 layers without severe confusion --- so your method should work better.
