[Finale] Center justification for text expressions
Is there any way to do this? I can't figure it out if so. -- Robert Patterson http://RobertGPatterson.com ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
Re: [Finale] Center justification for text expressions
Not sure I understand correctly. It is possible to center expressions between barlines and to make their allignment point center. However, it is not possible to create multi-line expressions where the lines are centered in relation. Is this what you want to do? Johannes Robert Patterson schrieb: Is there any way to do this? Re: [Finale] Center justification for text expressions
Right, I want to center-justify multiline text expressions. (As opposed center-aligning them in some external context, which is easy to see how to do.) This is not supported, apparently, in measure expressions the way that it is with text blocks created with the Text Tool. I don't know why not, as this seems to be the last feature that is different between the two tools. You can fake it with spaces at the beginning of the lines, though. Or you could use a measure attached text block, depending on the context. It's one of the instances where I do use measure attached text blocks, which otherwise haven't got that much use any more. Well, there's the old fashioned way: create the multi-line expression, and insert spaces or hard-spaces as needed to adjust each line by hand. ns ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
