[Finale] EPS Problem

2004-08-28 Thread Giovanni Andreani
Back to EPS. I've exported a score in EPS and discovered that the
instrument names on the score's first page are in a different font (looks
like Maestro). The strange thing is that the same document turned out a
perfect EPS one week ago, having the same fonts I've got now. This is
really serious to me and I just would like to understand how it happens.
Any suggestions?

Thank you
Giovanni Andreani

[Finale] EPS Problem

2004-07-31 Thread Giovanni Andreani
Two elements are graphically changed when exporting to EPS: one is the
Peignot Lt Std Light font, which numbers turn to other kind and bigger
size font. The second is a rectangle around stems without a notehead;
These non-noteheads have been selected from the Note Shape Tool, choosing
an empty box to determine the assigned character (box n. 9 in Maestro
Percussion Font). Is it the empty box that, when translated in EPS gives
a rectangle as a result? If so, what character will do the job? And, can
anyone explain the problem with Peignot font? I didn't have these
problems with OS 9 and Fin 2k3

I don't know about your Peignot font problem, but a space (instead of box n.
 9) should be a good solution for the invisible note head problem.

Quick justin-case info for Giovanni: All the blank boxes look alike. A
 space is slot #32.
