Thanks Ray! I put a staff style in the piccolo line, and it appears to have
taken care of the whole problem. At least so far as I can see now.

In a big project I'm trying to finish up, I have this problem often, but
not all the time. Sometimes the staves hide normally. Sometimes they don't.
In the latter I use staff styles

A staff can be part of more than one group, so be careful.

[Finale] hiding empty staves

2014-07-03 Thread arabushka
Is anyone aware of a bug that leaves empty staves on a page after using HIDE
EMPTY STAVES? Is there a setting of some sort for this? Lots of times Finale
leaves empty staves on a page, and it's time consuming to use the staff style
to hide them.
