Re: [Finale] Layout bug
May be something about that multi-measure rest. An experiment to try would be to make it fewer measures and see if that changes things. Not that it would make a solution obvious but it may narrow down the problem. -Original Message- From: finale-boun...@shsu.edu [mailto:finale-boun...@shsu.edu] On Behalf Of dc Sent: Friday, November 30, 2012 12:10 AM To: finale@shsu.edu Subject: Re: [Finale] Layout bug Le 30/11/2012 00:18, Darcy James Argue écrit : Hi Dennis, Are you sure you are not accidentally unlocking the systems? Re: [Finale] Layout bug
Hi Dennis, Hmm. Puzzling! What happens if you fix the layout after running Update Layout (so it once again looks like your first example), re-lock the systems, and run Update Layout again? Also, are your MM rests set to Update Automatically? What happens if you turn that off? Re: [Finale] Layout bug
m, yeah i had something like that once, can't remember on which file, but it did have something to do with the last system (or measure, not sure), as far as i could tell. as i recall i never found a permanent solution. i wondered at the time if it was an upgrade glitch. i believe it would have been when i was using F2010... sorry, no help really, just more mystery. ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
Re: [Finale] Layout bug
it shouldn't affect it if you have them locked, but do any of the measures have start new system checked? i have never encountered this but upgraded from 2007 to 2010, used 2008 only a couple of times briefly. ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
