Yes, that must be him -- he still works at the Guildhall. What you  
say sounds pretty positive. I look forward to the sessions in Lyon.

I think I have met him once, at least 10 years ago.
American trombone player, as I remember.  At the time he worked for  
the Guildhall School of Music here in London.
I work for the music service of a north London borough. We had a  
teachers' training day and he came for the afternoon.
We did improvisation and gospel singing.  It was extremely  
enjoyable.  He really knows his stuff and got the best out of everybody.
