[Finale] transposing in score mac 2012

2013-01-30 Thread Linda Worsley
Finale 2012 MAC

I used to know how to do this when I was using 2010.

I have been sent a big score with all the instruments in concert pitch.
The client wants them transposed (the usual...horn, clarinet, etc.)

In 2010 I could open the staff dialog box and ask that the part be
transposed, and in what way.

Now I can't find any way to do that in an existing score. HELP!

And thanks!

In Finale2012 PC open the score manager, in the instrument list click on
the instrument you want to change and the transposition box is on the right
hand side underneath the list. Sorry if it's different in the Mac version.

Cheers,

Lawrence

It may be as simple as looking in the Document menu and unchecking Display in
Concert Pitch. Otherwise, type cmd-K for the Score manager (or choose from
the Window menu)
