I have a Canon MP830 scanner/printer. It's perfect and fast as scanner and printer. I'm just digitizing everything I use at school, scores, worksheets, lead sheets, and I have never had a better solution (I have had HP, Epson and Canon scanners earlier).
It's duplex/duplex - that means it can scan duplex (both sides), it can print duplex and even copy duplex. You can even create PDFs from the machine directly.
