[Finale] OT: Work Stations

2009-07-22 Thread Ryan Beard

Hi List,
I'm moving into a new place and I'm going to have to change my work station to
fit into less space. (My girlfriend keeps saying something about
sharing...whatever...) I'm curious if any of you would share your set-ups and
dimensions.
Currently, I have an L-shaped desk. Keyboards (QWERTY and MIDI) on the right,
monitor in the corner, and an open/writing space on the left.
The desk I'm using won't survive another move, so I'm planning on buying a
new one.
Thanks for the advice!

Anthro makes all manner of terrific, durable, furniture in a wide
variety of styles and configurations, but it is expensive.

The messages from him show lists.fin...@dfenton.com as his
return address -- I take it that's not working?

If you go to http://www.dfenton.com/ and click on the
Contact button there's a form you can use to get a message
to him.

[Finale] Printing In Color

2009-07-22 Thread Ryan Beard

I was under the impression that you could check a box and print a file in color
(the colors used in your display settings). Is this still true? I can't find
the menu item to check or uncheck to make this happen.

Fin 2008
Mac OS X 10.5

Will an EPS show color, or are EPS files just in black and white?

I'm not on MAC, and don't have 2k8 installed, but in 2010 on Windows, in
the lower left hand corner of the print dialog window, is the legend,
items to print, to the left of which is a column of check boxes, the
second of which is display colors.  You might consult the user manual;
looking for print display colors.
