Do you happen to know which package is supposed to provide it? And what is the context of any error you're getting? That utility was renamed to gnc-fq-update. In the fink realm, it only has the effect of 'fink update date-manip-pm finance-quote-pm586' (or -588 depending on your system version) because there were sometimes problems if one updated finance-quote through CPAN the way the standard gnucash utility did it. I have released Phynchronicity 2.2, my GUI for the Fink Unix-software package management system on Mac OS X. Phynchronicity provides a graphical user interface for Fink, a powerful command-line tool for installing and updating thousands of Unix-based applications for the Mac.
