The install said 0 packages to install (and the problem was not fixed). Do I need to remove (or purge) the broken package? Re: [Fink-users] pango1-xft2-1.24.5-1 error
Cairo 1.8.10-2 is listed as the latest stable package, but I just found 1.8.10-3 in unstable. I was able to build pango...but it's pango-xft2-1.24.5-7 (unstable), not 1.24.5-1 (listed as stable). I generally build stable packages unless there is some package in unstable only that I need. Is that a bad idea? If so, then there are a lot more packages I need to build to get current. Here is the rsync command that I use: rsync -az -q rsync://distfiles.master.finkmirrors.net/finkinfo//TIMESTAMP /sw/fink/TIMESTAMP.tmp On May 12, 2010, at 10:38 AM, Benjamin Reed wrote: -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 On 5/12/10 10:32 AM, jkolata wrote: The install said 0 packages to install (and the problem was not fixed).
