According to:
https://github.com/FirebirdSQL/firebird/commits/B3_0_Release

The fix has been committed on July 13, so the current Windows snapshot
from July 29 should include that.

Found the CORE issue now:
http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-5307

Marked as fixed, thus give a recent 3.0 snapshot a try.

Quoting Dmitry Yemanov in firebird-support on July 12, 2016:

Not possible (directly) with current API.

Just speaking from the Trace API, you could start a trace session with
the connection_id configuration parameter properly set.

Just an idea. ;-)

The problem would be connection pooling in .NET. :\

So, for an established connection, CURRENCT_CONNECTION isn't
constant/stable?

Or, I guess an exisiting connection with a given CURRENT_CONNECTION gets
re-used later on?

Re: [Firebird-net-provider] Trace Database Log

2007-07-17 Thread Thomas Steinmaurer
Hi Dean,

I want to see all the transactions made aginst the datase like:
All the Select, Insert Update, Delete statements with Time.

This is not really a Firebird.NET question, but I think your best bet would
be to use triggers. Whenever a SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT or DELETE statement is
executed, set up a trigger to save the data into an audit table.

Which can be done manually (boring and error-prone) or via our product
IB LogManager. http://www.upscene.com/products/audit/iblm_main.htm

2006-05-18 Thread Thomas Steinmaurer

Hello Carlos,

- Visual Studio 2005 Professional installed
- Visual Studio 2005 SDK from October 2005 installed

Install the April one that is the latest stable one if i'm not worng :P

I've changed the two path occurences in FirebirdDDEXProvider.reg to:
C:\\Program Files\\FirebirdClient

Add \\ at the end of the path and retry, please.

Whenever I click on the Connect to Database button in the Server
Explorer in VS2005, I get the following error message:

An unexpected error occured in the .NET framework data provider for
Firebird. Please contact the provider vendor to resolve this problem.

What is the message that gets shown in the Windows Event Log ??

Will check tomorrow, because I don't have access to my day job PC at the
moment.

Thanks,
Thomas
