It should be a nbackup file since it has *.nbk* extension and created by a tool that uses nbackup. Is it possible to recover it, if corrupted?
[firebird-support] How do i access firbird database to manipulate the databases
Hi there, I am new to firebird and need to manipulate or merge two firebird databases. The tables should be the same format but I need to be able to merge both so it shows both tables data on it. Or is there a way of manipulating the database so i can add the extra patients. Please let me know how I would be able to do so. Please let me know. [firebird-support] Maximum Number of Connections 2.5.3
There seems to be contradictory information about maximum number of simultaneous distinct user connections to Firebird. This document: How many users can connect to Firebird simultaneously? http://www.firebirdfaq.org/faq292/ says there is not limit, except for the TCP/IP in the OS. How many users can connect to Firebird simultaneously? http://www.firebirdfaq.org/faq292/ Collection of answers to questions about Firebird maximum, number, users, connections. (Each individual user's connection must be kept separate from each other). I need to serve 7,000 users. Should I forget about using Firebird for this app, and move to MS SQL Server?
