While this is true, that people should first read the release notes, IMHO we should make the transition for Embedded users more clear/prominent/present on the website, e.g. in the download area for 3.0 packages. Due to a missing downloadable Embedded package, a clear statement on what is needed for an Embedded deployment out of the regular server distribution might help as well. Perhaps in a dedicated chapter of the release notes (possibly I haven't read the release notes carefully myself *g*). I know Carlos' migration guide deals with that, but IMHO the release notes should make that clear as well. The current situation is a bit confusing for Embedded users.
