Sorry for the off topic message, but can anyone recommend a list similar to this one for JavaScript? Googled but didn't find anything promising. Thanks! Matt ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders

Yes, but in this instance, he wants to know when the Flash movie loses focus - hence my point about listening to the events on the stage - a button or other event dispatcher may lose focus at any time, but the Flash movie may still have focus. I don't mean to be rude, but you are splitting hairs where they don't need to be split to solve the problem. It is a special event. It is one of the few broadcast events. The manual is quite clear on this. It is not dispatched for focus issues. That's the FocusEvent class. This is a plain Event. I refer to the manual for all the details about this event. But you do have a point, it's not important. But I was under the impression that you had already answered the question well enough for the original poster. ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders
