[Flashcoders] Flash Contracting Opportunity

2006-12-13 Thread Eaton, Jason
This will be my last post to this list on this request, thanks for your
patience. Please reply to me DIRECTLY.

CyberSource provides E-Commerce services for merchants like Buy.com,
Nike, and Adobe. We are trying to develop a flash application which has
no visual component, and used in a non-conventional way. Please read the
requirements below and let us know if you can help us with our project.

Description Included;

In this email I will include the requirements of the project and what we
need from you before engaging in a paid contracting position.

Requirements;

We need a flash in-browser application that will discretely ( without
notifying the user ) gather environment specific information.
Information which will uniquely identify the environment the flash
application/browser is running in. This information should be
consistently reproducible such that each time the user runs it, the same
information is generated. The information should be unique as possible
for that given environment. The string should be represented textually
and put into a post form field of the HTML page in which invokes it. We
do not want the user to know that the flash application is running. The
user should not have the ability to circumvent the gathering of the data
or easily change it's outcome.

Deliverables;

The first deliverable is to produce a function specification stating
what data you propose be used for this approach. You do not have to
disclose the methods you use to generate this data at this time. For
each data element you propose to gather you should include what it
represents and it's believed relative uniqueness to the environment. You
need to also include a timeline to write a flash application which
provides this functionality.

The second deliverable will be after we have engaged on a more formal
business level with an NDA and proof of payment such as a signed
purchase order. At this point we will require a detailed functional
specification and a detailed schedule which will turn into billable
hours. At the end of the schedule we will want the source code or
project files for the flash application and the deployable flash
application with any accompanying javascript or html.

I hope this is clear. I will be available at the below number if you
would like to discuss on the phone.

Thanks.

Thanks Yehia.

I should have mentioned but the company would like to keep this work
inside the US.

Thanks for your interest.
