[Flashcoders] Strange problem loading multiple transparent swfs
I'm loading several transparent pngs in swfs(flash 7), on top of each other same xy, using moviecliploader. What seems to happen is i have image1, image2, and image3 all loading, using the same moviecliploader, then i reload image2 and image3 and for some reason a big box of invisibilty comes over all images, making 2/3rds of the all the images transparent. Anyone have this problem? Is there any way in flash to using a string to declare a function name. Here's an example: class test { var a = "hello"; function get this[a]() { trace("hi"); } } i've tried this[a] and taht doesn't work... i'm not sure how it would otherwise be done. [Flashcoders] dynamic html text with xpath and cdata
For some reason when i load cdata text in using xpath like this thexml.selectNodes("//node/subnode/text()") where there is a br it breaks the line, but leaves the br in the text... anyone know why this is happening? Also my textfield will not align to the right, i have manually set it to align to the right, and i have made a textformat to align it to the right to no avail. The text box is manually drawn onto stage. the xml is in this format: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders

Re: [Flashcoders] IE on mac documentation
There were all kinds of problems with mac ie and flash. All kinds of stuff would work with every browser except it. Very frustrating. On 1/6/06, John Dowdell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Caleb E.
