Re: [Flashcoders] Apple developing flash-like alternative

2010-05-08 Thread William Bierwerth
as I remember there was a time that Mac had a big push to develop 3D, it
fell apart

Mac had a push to develop a game developers community to compete with
windows (when windows was the defacto choice for games)

it fell apart

Now they want FLASH?

oooh no they they don't want to come out of the closet competely and say
it, they want to let it fall apart, so they never had to admit being
commited to it in the first place...

Climb on board

they don't have the mindset for development

I am not onboard with the instant obsolescence that everybody sells
(ADOBE included)

not impressed with Jobs either, his track record is style, which is not
above suspicion

If Mac had no Adobe(FLASH) there would be a lessening of their market
share because GRAPHICS PEOPLE are the reason they have survived over the
years

(including ADOBE FLASH)

so like Highlander there can be only one?
stupid is as stupid does

[Flashcoders] leading in cs 4

2010-01-23 Thread William Bierwerth

hi,
we have to do these large documents, and it seems certain characters are
throwing linespaces off and we don't find any linepace control in cs4
for individual lines like we had in cs3,

does anybody know if there is a work around?

thanks so much

Bill
